Our Halloween Costume Parade is truly a Harford County Tradition -- see you on October 27th!
We're hoping for great weather -- and why not? So bring your kids,
your friends, your video cameras, and join us for the 19th Annual Festival at Bel Air Halloween
Costume Parade!
The event kicks off at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 27th, but you'll want to get there by 9:30 am
to make sure your child receives a trick-or-treat bag and candy,
courtesy of the Festival at Bel Air merchants and WXCY-FM 103.7 FM - "Your Favorite Country."
The parade will feature judging by a panel of experts, who
will pick the 35 semifinalists, and, from them, the 10 finalists. And it's all under the "direction" of Guest Ghost Host Dave Hovel, your favorite on-air radio personality from WXCY-FM!
The Grand Prize Winner, 2nd and 3rd Place Winners are chosen
by the acclamation of the crowd. All 10 Finalsts receive special
prize bags with gifts and special favors; the Grand Prize Winner,
2nd and 3rd Place Winners also receive $100, $75 and $50 gift
certificates to special Festival stores.
Although there aren't specific separate groupings in the judging, we make sure that all ages, sizes, levels of creativity and fun are suitably honored and rewarded.
After the judging is complete EVERYONE is invited to
"Trick or Treat" all the stores in the Festival displaying the
official 2007 Halloween Poster (there it is on the left of this page!), until 2:00 pm!
